Description
We have got this error:
getpeername(): Transport endpoint is not connected
Can't build connection ID
And after that requests to proxy_pass upstream presumably got wrong Host header (with self ip address, instead of upstream hostname). A lot of following requests ended up with this message:
upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while SSL handshaking to upstream
After restart of the nginx everything started to work fine.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
The message in question is not from nginx, it does not use
getpeername()
and does not contain messages like "Can't build connection ID". Presumably, this is something from your backend. And the messageupstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while SSL handshaking to upstream
suggests that your backend can't handle load. While restarting nginx may help your backend simply by reducing load on it, you should focus on your backend to find out what goes wrong. Either way, It doesn't looks like a bug in nginx.
