Description

I was searching the variable list (http://nginx.org/en/docs/varindex.html) and then core variables (http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_core_module.html#variables) and got confused because the textual descriptions do not always help.

My goal was to find the variable containing the file path requested by the browser ("/path/to/file" when the browser accesses "http://example.org/path/to/file?foo=bar").

It would have helped me if the variables would have had examples. Please add them to the docs.
