Description
I'm on Ubuntu Server 22.04 using the official nginx repo. After the nginx-module-njs package was updated to 1.22.1+0.7.10-1~jammy, nginx failed to launch with the following error:
nginx: [emerg] dlopen() "/etc/nginx/modules/ngx_stream_js_module.so" failed (/etc/nginx/modules/ngx_stream_js_module.so: undefined symbol: xmlOutputBufferCreateIO) in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf:5
Downgrading the package to version 1.22.1+0.7.9-1~jammy solved the problem:
sudo apt install nginx-module-njs=1.22.1+0.7.9-1~jammy

Fixed upstream in https://hg.nginx.org/njs/rev/0f5b52a42f97
Will be fixed in prebuilt packages on new njs release.

Thanks for submitting the ticket.
Indeed, there is an issue with underlinked stream module.
As a workaround until it's properly fixed I suggest loading ngx_http_js_module.so prior to stream one - this one is properly linked with libxml so the symbol will be loaded.
