Description
the ngx_http_memcached_module currently does not have functionality to support memcached with username and password sasl authentication. no current way to integrate with memcached as a service providers due to authentication limitations.

There are no plans to add support for this, as well as there are no plans to add support for the memcached binary protocol which only supports SASL authentication.
