Description

Hi - given a location block like this :

     location /zz {
        proxy_set_header        Accept $http_accept;
        proxy_pass  http://localhost:9999${request_uri};
        proxy_http_version 1.1;
      }

I'm sending an HTTP request using curl:

curl -vH 'Accept: application/json' -H 'Accept: application/vnd.dummy-api.v2+json' http://localhost/zz

curl output shows me that two Accept headers are sent:

> GET /zz HTTP/1.1
> User-Agent: curl/7.29.0
> Host: localhost
> Accept: application/json
> Accept: application/vnd.dummy-api.v2+json

but the dummy HTTP server on port 9999 shows:

GET /zz HTTP/1.1
Accept: application/json
Host: localhost:9999
Connection: close
User-Agent: curl/7.29.0

I had really hoped Nginx would join the multiple Accept headers into a single comma-separated value as described in section 4.2 of https://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec4.html

Have I made a false assumption, is this a feature I can enable, or is it an Nginx bug?

Thanks!
