Description
Nginx logs records post timeouts as get. ( in access logs)
reproducable
ie whenever a POST request is timing out, nginx access logs shows http_method as GET. This also happens on 1.12 version as well.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
The $request_method variable represent the request method as currently used by the request. It can be different from the original request method, for example, after internal redirections with
error_page
, which is likely what happens in your case. To see the original request method consider logging the $request variable.
